I got caught by blixco (4.00 / 1) #1 Mon Feb 18, 2008 at 03:27:55 PM EST
Sunday in the same traffic, heading to Wheatsville, but my car is small and my driving both nimble and obnoxious, so I managed to slip onto side streets and sidewalks and alleyways, avoiding all but the last tendrils of traffic.

It only took me an hour and a quarter.  For what should have been a ten minute trip.

Also, in re: annoyed.

I get it.

That going out and hiking thing?  All the church you needed was that trail, that sky, those dogs, and the finally nice weather, the monumentally nice days of early Austin spring.  That's where God is, if he's anywhere.

It's a good one, that's certain. Not the same as going to church, participating in a service and taking communion, though.

It's not the same without the cannibalism though by Rogerborg (4.00 / 1) #4 Tue Feb 19, 2008 at 05:59:36 AM EST
It's those little shared experiences that really help to bring a community together.
